Helper/Apprentice

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Currently apprenticing in the field, or has an interest in apprenticing (Heavy Duty
  Equipment Mechanic, or equivalent in mechanical or electrical fields)
• Mechanically inclined
• Rotating equipment knowledge is beneficial
• Current safety tickets (H2S, First Aid, WHMIS)
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Able to pass drug testing
• Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics
• Computer literacy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work both collaboratively, and independently
• Ability to lift and load heavy objects
• Can effectively adjust and respond to shifting priorities and demands

Job Description:

As a Helper/Apprentice at Syndicated Services Inc., your main duty is to assist our Service Technicians with the repair and maintenance of mechanical and/or electrical aspects of equipment. Helpers/Apprentices have multiple duties and must be able to multitask. This position requires the individual to have mechanical experience, as well as be motivated to develop their knowledge and skills.

Duties include:

• Assist service technicians/provide general help
• Perform miscellaneous labor activities
• Assist with clean-up
• Focus on customer satisfaction
• Comply with safety policies and applicable industry requirements
• Ability to travel as required
• Opportunity for continued training and advancement
