• 3 rd / 4 th year Millwright / Journeyman Mechanic – must have pump experience

Requirements:

• Knowledge of rotating equipment
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Able to pass drug testing
• Excellent troubleshooting ability
• Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics
• Computer literacy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work both collaboratively, and independently
• Job entails an on-call rotation and must be able to work OT
• Must live in the local GP area

Job Description:

The Millwright / Mechanic is responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of
mechanical and/or electrical aspects of equipment, with a focus on quality service, and customer
satisfaction.

Duties include:

• Inspect equipment for proper performance and determine faults and malfunctions
• Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective parts or systems
• Commission new equipment
• Provide customer training and support
• Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports
• Stay current with product development and technical best practices
• Focus on customer satisfaction
• Mentor/support apprentice technicians
• Comply with safety policies and applicable industry requirements
• Ability to travel as required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work both collaboratively, and independently
• Ability to lift and load heavy objects
• Can effectively adjust and respond to shifting priorities and demands
